Mark Sheridan

Mark Sheridan has been operating his training stable and producing winning all around show horses for over 28 years in Cave Creek, Arizona. He graduated from the University of Findlay with a Bachelors of Science degree where he worked closely with Dale Wilkinson and Clark Bradley and was inducted into the university of Findlay Wall os Fame. He later relocated to Arizona and apprenticed with Doug Lilly Quarter Horses for several years. He trains Quarter Horses for all around events in open, amateur, and youth competition and has a passion for teaching. He has trained and coached four reserve youth world champions in horsemanship, trail, hunter under saddle, and hunt seat equitation. He enjoys the class of western riding and makes it his specialty.

Mark is past president of the Arizona Quarter Horse Association, and a member of AQHA Professional Horseman’s Association, and was awarded Arizona’s Most Valuable Professional Horseman in 2008. He has written numerous articles in nationally published magazines and conducts clinics throughout the United States and in many other places around the world. His recently released four hour DVD set on achieving perfect lead changes from start to finish has had great response, and works for any discipline or breed.
